I use your published example design for Displayport RX to TX.
I use it with the XEM8320 and the SYZYGY-Displayport Adapter.
If I use a DisplayPort source from an dedicated NVIDIA or Intel GPU the design is working as expected.
If I use a HDMI source with a HDMI-to-DP converter as source, the design is working as expected.
But, if I use a DisplayPort source from an onboard Intel Displayport (DELL and Lenovo PC’s tested), the design isn’t wokring.
In detail: the video pipeline gets stucked, before the VDMA. The DP-RX IP core decides to use “synchronous clock mode”. In the other cases, asynchronous.
The VDMA only gets one SOF and afterwards nothing.
Did anyone also encounter this problem? Any hints for solving this?
Kind regards,
Christoph Heil
