XEM3010 Heat and Output Logic Problem

Hi.
The XEM 3010 module I’m using has started to get very hot.

One of the pins YBUS28 has also started to only go to 2.8V rather than sitting at zero correctly. If I set the pin high in verilog it’s voltage correctly goes to 3.3V.

All other pins seems to be operating correctly.

In terms of testing I’ve returned the module to its test breakout board, tried a verilog build with 90% of my design commented out and tested the verilog build on a second XEM 3010 (Which works perfectly).

Thanks.

Which component(s) on the XEM3010 are getting hot? The devices on the XEM3010 are wired, unprotected, to the expansion connectors if an incorrect wiring has been made, even temporarily, it can cause damage to the devices on the XEM.

Hi.
Thanks for that. Its the FGPA itself that gets hot. Unfortunately I imagine it must have been an electro-static discharge while using one of the test pins on our PCB. I’ll see if I can set it to ground or tristate and use a different pin.
Thanks.
