Recover from corrupted Cypress micro controller firmware?

Hi,
It looks like Cypress firmware of my XEM3005 got corrupted. Regardless of the USB configPROM config switch the board reports VID_04B4 and PID_8613 (unconfigured Cypress micro controller). Is there a way to recover from that?
