Hello,

I?m having some issues with the Front Panel PLL Frequency setting for the XM 3010. The front panel locks up when I try to change the frequency from anything other than what’s comes up in the EEPROM and when I set and apply a new frequency it doesn?t update. I placed the Tutorial 1 code into my code (counter drives LED outputs) so I could see a visual verification of the PLL setting a different frequency and I was unable to see any change. (Change from 10MHz to 200MHz and no visual change).

Any suggestions?

This was answered in an official support ticket submitted to Opal Kelly. For completeness…

The I2C_SDA and I2C_SCL lines need to be setup correctly in the HDL and UCF as suggested in the XEM3010 User’s Manual.
