okUsbFrontPanel_OpenBySerial error message

When attempting to open more than one XEM device okUsbFrontPanel_OpenBySerial prints out the following message:

“okUsbFrontPanel: Could not set configuration”

GetDeviceCount returns the correct number of devices, and GetDeviceListSerial returns four unique serial numbers, but OpenBySerial is only successful for the first device in the list.

Is this error message described in any documentation, or does it provide any clues as to what I might be doing wrong.

Thank you,

Bruno

What FrontPanel version?
What device?
What operating system?
What architecture?

Hi,

I think they are 3050’s, with the latest FrontPanel, using FedoraCore 13.

But it was my error, most of them were already open via another FrontPanel application.

I’m not sure why all four were not open, but that would be a different problem.

I closed the other program and they all initialized as expected.

Thank you, and have a great weekend,

Bruno
