.ngc files and ISE 8.1

Hi

Does anyone know of any issues with using the .ngc files for ISE 7.1 with ISE 8.1? We have our design working in simulation but whe we synthesize it in ISE 8.1 with those older .ngc files we have issues with the behaviour of the resultant .bit file. Does OK have any plans to release updateed .ngc files for ISE 8.1?

Hi,

I am using ISE 8.1 and I have had no issues so far. I am not bothering to try and simulate at this point, but I have seen no problems with 8.1 bit file behaviour on the real hardware… are you using the latest OK build 1.3.1?
