New XEM3001s have arrived and will be available for ordering Monday (20050321) evening with first devices shipping Wednesday (20050323).
The new devices incorporate a 16-bit host interface which will significantly improve transfer rates. Although initial boards will ship with the 8-bit interface enabled, a firmware update will be quickly forthcoming that will support the full 16-bit interface.
