Can the FIFO size be increased?

Hi,

I am using FIFO to comunicate with SDRM on the board. So far the FIFP size 2048 bytes according to the opalkelly user guide.
I am wondering if this size can be increased?

Hi Lin-

Yes, the size can be changed by using your own FIFO. In fact, we highly recommend using the CORE generator FIFOs in conjunction with a standard Pipe rather than the Buffered Pipe.

The functionality is identical, but you get the added flexibility of the FIFO core generator.

The Buffered Pipes were originally provided because the CORE generator was not shipped with the free version of the Xilinx ISE software.
