Hi, I've just installed the Frontpanel 3.1 release in my new computer, running with windows7 64-bits. I rebuilt my firmware (that was working nicely with windows Vista and the old front panel) but I'm having big issues on synthetize my project. I changed the oklibrary and all the .ncg with the...
Hi All, are you considering designing modules with USB 3.0 in the next 5 years from now? Regards
Please create a XEM5010 forums area under the Product Forums level
Is it possible to obtain some information on the Host Interface and wire/pipe/trigger blocks used in the FPGA, with regards to structure and clocks. Specifically, I am using the XEM3005 board and would like to add timing constraints for these blocks. I assumed (wrongly) that the I/O would be...
Just curious if there are any plans you can talk about for something like a 3010 or 3050 but using the Spartan-6 devices. We're starting a new product cycle and would wait for such a thing.
please add modelsim 6.5a simulatio libraries... thank you, Giancarlo
I spend way too much time with X,Y coordinates trying to make my frontpanel displays look good. A graphical editor would be very handy!
Since there are some unused pins on the high density connectors on the xem 3010, it would be nice to have access to USB D+,D-. This would make it easy to build a motherboard for the XEM and a computer on a module (like the gumstix) and have the usb connection taken care of without cables.
Hi Jake, I am getting a bad zip file error when trying to download the latest model sim files... Thanks, Bill
Curious, What are the 3020 and 9002 referances I find in the flashloader readme? Thanks...
Hey Guys, Anychance of coming out with a prototype board any time soon? Something that can operate stand-alone with a single supply like the 3010, have the progamability of the 3005, low cost like the 3001 and some perfboard or generic soic strips would be great! Bill...
Dear all, I'm a new member in this forum so I want to introduce myself. My Name is Michael, I live in a little village close to Hamburg in Germany. I want to lern and share knowledge about CPLD and FPGA. In my former job a worked as a digital designer for a semiconductors company. ...
Do you know of anyone that has interfaced your FPGA board(s) to the: - USB video class driver in Windows (bulk transfers) - DirectShow compatible WDM (Windows Driver Model) or VFW (Video for Windows) driver?
How does one get access to the downloads I apparently don't have sufficient permissions
I'm not sure which forum to post this to so I chose this one. I have recently started using Opal Kelly boards as part of an ongoing project to implement the Inferno Virtual Machine in silicon. You are all invited to join http://groups.google.com/group/dis-on-a-chip and then to leave if you...
The default PLL configuration for the XEM3005 and many of the examples in the Front Panel manual have large common factors in the dividers. For example, the default values of P and Q to generate 400 MHz from 48 MHz are P=400 and Q=48. Wouldn't it be better if these were P=25 and Q=3? I thought that...
Hello, dear ladies and gentlemen! I wish to buy amazing Opal Kelly's "XEM3010" board. But unfortunately, your internet sales page misses "Russia" in the list of destination countries! Please, answer me a pair of questions. Question 1: How can I order XEM3010 board (with deliver in...
Sorry for abusing the forum, but i have two problems. First i can't order anything in the online shop because my shipping address (in the Netherlands) is not recognized, so I can't order anything. Second problem is that I can't mail you since all 3 emails ISP's (one in Germany and two in...
1. Larger FPGA - XC3S2000 to XC3S5000 - 1st priority: Keep the same connector placement (JP2 & JP3) - 2nd priority: Keep the same form factor as the XEM3010 board (if possible) Thanks, Borden
A couple of things I have noticed: 1. It seems that many files are missing in the Linux distro when compared with the Windows files. 2. Also looks like the firmware upgrade option is unavailable on the Linux version of FrontPanel 3.0. 3. It would seem that if you are using wxWidgets for...
